Contemporary artist Ganapati Hegde artworks portray the rapturously green and radiant landscape of coastal Karnataka, where he grew up. Teeming with indigenous plants, flowers, birds, animals and insects, his paintings depict half-real, half-imagined worlds, layered with fantastical and unexpected elements.
