Gariba, is partial towards painting figures from the Gond pantheon. Badadev and the Saja tree are his favourite themes. His painting of Ghurri Dev (sentinel of the forest), is also very close to his heart; it reminds him of his childhood, when he would pray to Ghurri Dev and make offerings of wood or stone to the god before entering the forest to collect firewood.
Gariba uses a three-line pattern, which stands for the trishul – the three pronged trident of the gods. He has participated in multiple group shows across the country.
