Kisalay Vora

Citing art, literature and music as his primary influences, Kisalay’s artistic self- taught expression began at the age of five when he began drawing charcoals opposite his family home in Mandvi, Gujrat. He was one of the first few artists in India to explore different mediums simultaneously. He did not subscribe to being a purist and continued to challenge the boundaries. Kisalay Vora is one of Mumbai’s first artists to dapple successfully with Public Art. He believes that as a visualizer it is impossible for him to overlook every day elements, materials, movements mediums, sound, dance, indoor and outdoor spaces, all of which are symbols from everyday life.
