Narendran is a Chennai based visual practitioner. He completed his Masters from the Govt. College of Fine Arts, Chennai.
He is a trained painter who has also explored multiple mediums. He is interested in working with found and natural materials that metaphorically bring meanings to his layered pieces. He is passionate about Tamil Literature and often uses text as a visual medium.
He has been part of several art exhibitions in Chennai. He was part of a group called the Karuppu Art Collective that engaged with different artistic practices. He has exhibited at the Charles Adams Gallery, Upenn and at Imperfect Gallery, Philadelphia. He has been a resident artist at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia in 2017 and 2019.
