Rohini Mani, an invitee to the Kinetics Collective, is a versatile artist based in Chennai. She has participated in Finite vs Infinite, curated by Ashrafi Bhagat at Vajira Gallery, Dakshina Chitra, Chennai (2024), and Confluence of Past and Present: The Creative Flow, curated by Ms. Ashrafi Bhagat at Artworld, Chennai (2023). Her exhibition Self Reflection, curated by Ms. Vaishnavi Ramnathan at the InKo Centre in Chennai (2023), further solidified her position in contemporary art.
Rohini also participated in Gangwon Artist Triennale - Korea & India in Korea (2022) and Raza 100 - Yuva Sambhava in New Delhi (2022). In addition to her painting practice, she has illustrated and designed book covers for regional languages and international publications. Her work has been recognized with awards such as the Camlin Art Foundation’s Southern Zone Award in 2001 and the Publishing Next Award for Best Cover Design in Indian Languages in 2018. Rohini studied at the S.N. School of Arts and Performing Arts, Hyderabad Central University in 2006.
